Fortune Sea Marine Services grew out of the need to maintain our own fleet of commercial fishing vessels. It’s from a place of ownership and pride that the vision of this company developed. We understand the needs and expectations of vessel owners from a personal perspective.
Located in Homer, Alaska, we offer a diverse range of vessel and industrial services, from large vessel airbag haul out and repair, to regular maintenance and equipment rental. With locations out East End Road, in Northern Enterprises Boatyard, and on the Homer Spit, we are strategically positioned to operate wherever the job takes us.
Our Services

We offer large vessel haul-outs from September to May on the Homer Spit (next to the Pier One Theatre). Using specialized airbags, we carefully roll your vessel out of the water and onto the beach, where it’s securely stabilized with cribbing. After the project is finished, we use the same process in reverse to guide your vessel back into the water. We are well practiced at handling each vessel with safety and care as well as adapting to large tides and unruly weather.
